Cairo to Sharm Elsheikh

This dawn, you shall be escorted to Cairo Airfield for a brief journey to Sharm El Sheikh. Upon touchdown at Sharm airfield, a transport shall be arranged to your luxurious accommodation, such as the grandiose Royal Savoy. In the latter part of the day, luxuriate in a buggy excursion through the desert, complete with a traditional camel excursion and Bedouin tea. (B, L, D)

Early morning cruising along the Nile, leading to the temple of Edfu, devoted to the enigmatic falcon-headed deity, Horus. Be astounded by the temple’s immaculate architecture and detailed depictions. Journey onwards to Kom Ombo, where a one-of-a-kind dual temple pays homage to both Sobek, the god of crocodiles, and Haroeris, the deity with a falcon’s head. Aswan tour and Nubian Village

Philae Temple, a tribute to the revered deity Isis, should undoubtedly be on our itinerary. The unparalleled magnificence of this temple complex, which was uprooted from its original location due to the construction of the High Dam, is bound to leave you in awe. 

Afternoon visit to the Nubian Village, and revel in the activity of birdwatching, as this region is a protected UNESCO area for transitory avian species that flock here during different seasons. Abu Simbel and Departure

Set off on an early morning journey to Abu Simbel, where the majestic temples constructed during the reign of the illustrious Ramses II await your visit. These magnificent structures stand as a testament to ancient Egyptian architecture and are sure to leave an indelible mark upon you. The sense of awe and amazement that washes over you as you take in the ornate carvings and rich cultural symbolism of both the grand Temple of Ramses II and the smaller, yet equally impressive, Temple of Queen Nefertari is an experience that will stay with you long after your trip has come to a close.

Later in the day, you will be transported to the airport for your flight back home with a stopover in Cairo. (B)
